Keith’s passion in counseling is to see people set free and transformed by the renewing of their minds through the gospel of grace and power of God’s love.  He enjoys helping people discover the good God is working in all of life’s problems and circumstances.  He believes that the gospel understood and applied is God’s plan not only for salvation but also for transformation. Keith sees that the starting point in the Christian walk is the finished work of Christ on the cross, and that in order to know what to do in any situation you have to know who you are. The believer’s identity in Christ is central to all of Keith’s counseling.

Keith completed his undergraduate degree at The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and received his graduate counseling training at Georgia State University and the Psychological Studies Institute in Atlanta, GA, (Richmont Graduate University),The Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation, Philadelphia, PA., and the Eastern Psychotherapy Society, New York, NY.  Keith served in counseling ministries in Atlanta and New York before returning to his native state of North Carolina and joining the Bridgehaven team.

Areas of particular interest include self-image and identity issues, issues specific to men and masculinity, relational conflicts, problems with intimacy, single’s issues, and depression and anxiety.  Keith is committed to a holistic view of mental health that address the mind, body, and spirit, incorporating the truths of Scripture, methods of counseling, and referral to medical specialists as needed.
